- Cabin weight
- 10 kg
- Personal item
- 35 × 20 × 20 cm
The 10 kg limit applies to every 5J flight from 15 September 2026. Two pieces: one in the bin, one under the seat.
18 airlines · 30 things on the shelf
Manila carriers draw their cabin sizers in centimetres, not litres. Every bag on this shelf carries its three sides, its kilos and the number of frames it clears — so the question is answered here, not at the counter.
OPEN · 10 kg on 5J since 15 Sep

The board
Two-letter codes are what you see on a boarding pass. The bin column is the overhead frame, the seat column is the personal item, and the kilos are for both pieces together unless the note says otherwise.

DG · PH
Cebgo kept 7 kg when its sister airline moved to 10 kg. Turboprop routes, same two frames.
PR · PH
One cabin bag in the bin plus one personal item. A laptop bag may not exceed 45 x 35 x 20 cm.
Z2 · PH
Seven kilos for both pieces together. The second bag has to be a thin laptop or hand bag.
T6 · PH
The cabin frame is 56 x 35 x 20 cm: one centimetre narrower and three shallower than the usual 56 x 36 x 23.
2R · PH
Two carry-on pieces sharing 7 kg. The published frame is 53 x 40 x 20 cm, wider and shorter than most.
On the shelf
The number under every bag is how many of the 18 overhead frames it fits, counting wheels and handles. A bag that clears every frame is rare; a bag that clears most of them is usually the sensible buy.

Overhead bag · 55 × 35 × 20 cm
A soft-sided 20 cm deep pack that slides into the 56 × 36 × 23 frames without a fight.
15 of 18 overhead frames

1 of 18 overhead frames

3 of 18 overhead frames

Overhead bag · 55 × 40 × 20 cm
Four spinner wheels and a hard shell. The 40 cm width is what decides it.
3 of 18 overhead frames

Folds flat when empty. The shape most under-seat frames are drawn around.
18 of 18 overhead frames

Pick the carrier and where the bag is going. Type the three sides from the tag and the weight from your own scale. The answer uses the same box the gate agent uses — a bag only passes if it fits with every side turned the wrong way round.
Nothing is sent anywhere. The check runs in this browser tab and the numbers are not stored.
Type the three sides and the weight, then press check. The answer prints here like a tag.
How to measure
Airline frames include everything that sticks out. A bag listed at 55 cm can measure 58 once the wheels and the top handle are counted, which is the difference between boarding and paying.
A soft bag bulges. Measure it packed the way you will carry it, then measure again at the counter.
Length, width and depth. The diagonal is not a side and no airline sizer asks for it.
The sizer is a box. If the bag fits with its longest side along the longest side of the frame, it fits.
Seven kilos goes quickly with a laptop and a pair of shoes. A hook scale costs less than one excess-bag fee.
The kit shelf
Sixteen small things that earn their space: a scale, cubes that compress, a pillow that does not push the head forward, and one cable that covers three sockets.
How the order works
Add what you want, then take the list to Amazon.sg where the prices, the stock and the delivery address are real. Nothing is charged here, and the basket stays in this browser until you clear it.

Questions
No. There is no checkout here and no card field. The basket holds a list of item numbers; the button at the end opens Amazon.sg with that list in the cart, and the payment happens there.
The listings come from Amazon.sg, which delivers to the Philippines and shows prices in SGD. Amazon converts the charge at checkout and quotes the delivery cost for your address before you confirm.
The tighter one. A bag that clears Cebu Pacific at 56 × 36 × 23 and also clears the second carrier is the safe buy; the checker lets you run each leg separately.
Yes. The frame accepts the bag exactly as it boards, so the wheels, the top grip and a full side pocket all count. A shell sold as 55 cm can reach 58 cm once it is dressed.
It depends on the gate, and that is the problem. Some agents wave it through, some charge a gate-bag fee, some send it to the hold. Buying a bag that clears the frame by a couple of centimetres removes the argument entirely.
vjron is a small catalogue run from Makati. We pick the bags, check the airline frames against each carrier's published baggage page, and earn a commission when a reader buys through the links.
